Terms and Conditions
- Introduction
This agreement is between Practice Lazet, represented by Marjolein, Elise Lazet ( in her capacity as Owner) and the client. By entering this agreement, you acknowledge that our services are tailored to support the preparation, integration, or after-care following Plant Medicine experiences.
- Scope of Services
Practice Lazet provides Counselling, including somatic experiencing, trauma-informed care, and other personalized therapeutic modalities aimed at helping clients prepare for, process and integrate Plant Medicine experiences.
These services are non-diagnostic and non-prescriptive. We do not provide medical or clinical treatment for mental health conditions. Practice Lazet urges clients to seek immediate medical attention if they experience a mental health crisis or emergency.
Practice Lazet does not prescribe, administer, or recommend specific Plant Medicines.
All clients are responsible for obtaining plant medicines legally and safely.
- Confidentiality
All sessions and client interactions are confidential in compliance with Dutch privacy laws. Client data will be collected, processed, and stored following the GDPR and clients may request to view or delete their personal data at any time.
No information will be shared with third parties without explicit client consent, except in cases of legal obligation (e.g., imminent harm).
- Payment and Cancellation Policy
All sessions are charged in Euros (€) and are paid in advance.
Cancellation policy: Missed appointments will be charged in full, unless rescheduled/cancelled 24 hours in advance.
In cases of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances, clients may reschedule their session once, provided notice is given within a reasonable time.
- Rights and Responsibilities
The client retains the right to stop sessions at any time.
The practitioner reserves the right to refer clients to other specialists if their needs exceed the scope of the practice.
If the practitioner deems the services unsuitable for the client’s needs mid-course, the practitioner will provide a referral letter or recommend other practitioners.
- Online Sessions
Sessions take place online and via secure platforms that comply with GDPR.
Both the practitioner and the client have the responsibility to ensure a stable internet connection and privacy during the session.
- Liability
The client understands that Counselling does not replace professional mental health or medical treatment.
Practice Lazet will not be liable for any decisions or actions taken by the client as a result of the Counselling services.
Practice Lazet shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Counselling services.
- Jurisdiction
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and any disputes will be handled accordingly.
Any disputes arising under this agreement will be subject to the jurisdiction of the court located in Leiden, the Netherlands.
In the event of any dispute arising under this agreement, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the dispute through mediation before pursuing legal action in court.
- Professional Standards
Practice Lazet adheres to professional ethical standards to reassure clients of the quality and responsibility of the services provided.
Practice Lazet operates under the Harm Reduction Principle, focusing on providing information and support before and after the use of Plant Medicine.
Practice Lazet does not condone, encourage, or offer substance-based experiences. Our services are intended solely for the preparation and integration of personal experiences within the framework of legal and safe practices.
By booking a session(s) you agree to the terms outlined above and consent to commence services with Practice Lazet.
